Spring Run - Streambank Restoration Project

This project will include the removal of a railroad tie wall, excavation, installation of a R7 rock toe and vegetative embankment on Spring Run in the City of Altoona. Total project length is approximately 75 feet. Project will be done according to the design and specifications provided. Copies can be found on the Blair County Conservation District webpage under news and announcements or by contacting the Conservation District office directly. All itemized bids must be hand delivered or mailed (electronic submissions not accepted), sealed, and provided on required bid form. No other forms will be accepted.

Construction is to take place during low flow period, but must be completed by no later than September 29, 2017.

Bids will be received up until the bid opening. Opening will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday June 7, 2017 at the Blair County Conservation District office. Contract shall be awarded based on the Conservation District’s determination of the lowest responsible bid. Contractor must be in good standings with the state to be considered. EEO
