Conservation Education

The Blair County Conservation District offers a wealth of educational opportunities through its Conservation Education Specialist, J.T. Bandzuh as well as the Conservation District Staff. J.T. provides hands-on learning opportunities at NatureWorksPark as well as programs developed for schools, libraries, and other organizations in Blair County. Lessons for schools are based on current PA Core Standards.

Currently all programs are free of charge to any school, library, community or youth group based in Blair County, and the Conservation Educator will travel to your meeting place.  There is a fee for programs outside of Blair County.
